His inability to sing is well documented and so I went with an open mind. But it wasn't his off-key warblings as such, the fact he had to keep restarting songs due to his fuck ups was mildly entertaining at the start, but just got irritating as it kept happening.

The Stone Roses were and are one of my favourite bands, I grew up listening to them with friends at school so they have a special place in my life. I think their first album is exceptional and I love listening to it. Somehow on it Brown's voice just seems to work.
