The Tesco Christmas Ad a) because its pissing off the ant-vaxers and; b) the gag with the plane starting and stopping based on travel advice is actually quite funny! https://twitter.com/Tesco/status/1459623351861727234?s=20

The new plans look a bit shit to me.
Demolish the dome retain pool/slides demolish the sports hall.
Obviously they are dead in the water if it gets listed status, which while well intended will probably turn it into a mechanics institute mk 2

Or turn the whole site into a proper university / Campus which the Town is crying out for

They seem to be dragging the listing application out, I’m sure it was submitted soon after the closure last November.
I agree with Batch in that it being successful will be the death knell for the site sadly.

Its about par for the course, unless someone submits a planning application then they might expedite it a bit, but I see the oners have said they won't submit until HE/DCMS decide. Not done one for a few years, but 6-12 used to be normal unless it was urgent.

All those that think or feel the Oasis is a worthwhile fit for purpose, profitable going concern should be asked to put their money where their mouths are and buy shares in the place. There is a valid reason why the current owners/leaseholders don’t think it’s viable and those are the same reasons why the snowdome development hasn’t kicked off yet. Covid has put the frighteners on business risking £10’s & £100’s of millions on them.
I also expect those squaking about its salvation would probably have been happy to see the county ground flattened because it was a waste of tax payers money, conveniently forgetting the council didn’t pay a penny towards its rental or upkeep. Mind you in the end Pee Lower didn’t either.

Went passed someone's garden today and noticed that they had used a row of 12"12" patio slabs on their side to create an edge border and another house had put a cat flap bang in the centre of their living room window above the window sill😀
