Mate of mine invited us to go out on a trip on his boat yesterday. He’s pretty much a novice with his boat.

Rocked up at a beach, got out and he took the boat out a bit and anchored it in deeper water.

Problem was he chucked the anchor in but it wasn’t attached to the boat. Trying to get back into a boat that’s bobbing around in fairly strong waves ain’t easy.

With that and your dinghy escapades you're not selling it well.

Avoided the station. Got accosted by some religious fanatics outside Sports Direct.

My stroll around Swindon town centre in the summer sun.

We avoided the grockles coming up from W. Dorset/ E. Devon kerb crawling in down town Swindon. We drove via old town and down Drove Road from W. Swindon. Much more scenic and cultured I think you’ll find, ought to try it next time.

I confess, I don't really know the town that well. Been to a couple of places in what I understand to be west Swindon- notably the Asda and the old Renault building (the latter was was something to do with the launch of the Renault 21 in the mid 80s). I also seem to recall driving through old town a few times.
