Got an all day wedding to attend tomorrow albeit a mid afternoon nuptials, so I got out both pairs of black shoes and gave them a good old fashioned polishing with some Kiwi black polish and a fucking good buffing with a very, very old mutton cloth from the days of NZ frozen lamb imports. God it felt so good, may give them a second go in the morning.

I don’t think it will be that kind of a wedding TBH. The groom is 80 & the blushing bride is late 70’s it is likely to be a million miles from ‘my big fat Gypsy wedding’ for boisterousness. If tonights stag & hen night was anything to go by.

Chocolate brownies. The fudgier the better. Add to that a cup of tea and you’re onto a winner.

Those Gasheads already predicting a warm reception for Ben Garner!

"What is in Barton’s favour, and why I think he isn’t under pressure, the patsy fixtures keep on coming. NOT IMPOSSIBLE WE ARE UNBEATEN IN NEXT SEVEN. Either way plenty of points to pick up.

Barrow a - should get something
Crawley relegation candidates h - we will win
Pool a - toughie, but why not a draw
Orient h - toughie but why not a win
Walsall relegation candidates a - we will win
Swindon h - doesn’t bear thinking about losing, there will be loads of aggression to Ben and lots of pro Barton support in this derby fixture, I predict win
Carlisle a - why not at least point "
