Really good read that

I've a copy on my shelf, which I've never read.  One of those books which has ended up there and I've no idea how.  After TT's heads up, dug it out and someone has annotated it and made a major effort. It cost 75p as new.

Your website looks like a conspiracy theorist's. Good write up though, I felt much the same after reading it.

In other news bears do unmentionable things in woods and the pope is a bit catholic.

I have lost count of the number of public consultation events I have attended where the locals moan about the housing shortage and the fact that their kids cannot buy houses then follow it with the fact that building in the vicinity of their house is the wrong place to build these much needed houses....

Just back from a short trip to Munich on business - my first visit to Germany for quite a few years.  I couldn't fail to be impressed by the place.  It's a general feeling; nothing specific.  It's clean, well-organised, modern and feels looked after.  It feels a little like what this country could be like if only we smartened the place up a bit.

I saw a certain green Lotus Esprit during the week and was pleased to see no sign of a hogtied, gagged Ells in the back seat. Congrats on another day of freedom Cheesy

p.s, disappointingly low key noise from a V8. Tongue

I was only there for 36 hrs.  One of those trips, sadly, where you only scratch the surface...so I don't have anything really in the way of recommendations.  You'll almost certainly pass the Allianz Arena on the way in from the airport.  (It sits next to the intersection of two autobahns.)  And the view of the Alps in the distance is stunning.  And the office tower I was working in was pretty impressive as well.  Others will be able to enlighten you far more, I'm sure.

Leggett, there is no back seat in an Esprit mate. Ells was in the boot nestling up to my selection of man tools  Too Cool

PM me your address and availability and I will take you out for a spin and give you the full soundtrack my friend. Si Pi will hate you as he thinks he is first on the list

Trying to explain to my 6 year old why I'm backing Chelsea for once.  He's completely bemused.  Usually I follow the 'lowerdog' and usually I'll root for anyone other than Chelsea as well.

Both have now had a history lesson of the despicable birth of Franchise FC.

And Franchise are 5-1 down with ½ an hour to go.  Could be embarrassing.
