He thinks the world is flat. You should see some of the arguments he puts forward, the bloke's a fucking simpleton.

Trying to argue with Neil DeGrasse Tyson is very funny indeed.

This cockwomble (with the frankly delightful Hayley Williams, mmmmmmmm) thinks the world is flat, NASA is behind the biggest lie in human history and has been keeping truthers down for decades, has been posting shit like this, and getting into arguments with Neil deGrasse Tyson among others who try to help him see he's a little bit wrong... posting shit like this... https://twitter.com/bobatl/status/691411463051804676https://twitter.com/bobatl/status/691420354699354113https://twitter.com/bobatl/status/691475484899577859this made me chuckle, though... https://twitter.com/bobatl/status/691777721811255297...but this made me laugh more! https://soundcloud.com/drtyson/flat-to-fact

Some of the replies have been great. .@bobatl this is the best beef in the rap game right now. Can't wait to hear Round Earth's diss track against B.o.B Still, if I ever have an album release coming up, a couple of weeks before I'll be sure to start tweeting about how dogs only have 2 legs or something

I've been to Japan and I didn't see the end... But the Earth is flat, everyone knows that. It's also held up atop four enormous elephants who stand astride a huge, space dwelling turtle of indeterminate gender.

don't you know it. I'm reading the David Icke forums now. I can't get enough of this kind of thing.

I love conspiracy theories. One of my favourites is that the moon is really a space-ship. Icke did a long presentation on it once, I watched the hole thing in amazement.

What's your favourite? Moon landing(s) JFK 9/11 Roswell Something else? At least I can see a good reason for faking the moon landings. Obviously don't believe they did. 9/11 CT is just plain bonkers.

I love them too. Mine is definitely the reptilians. Seriously how can you beat the idea that the Queen is a lizard? And the weird people they throw into it too.. Noel Edmonds is a shape shifter apparently.
Diana's pretty good, mind. Mitchell and Webb do a great sketch on conspiracy theories. I can't get on YouTube here but I expect its on there if you look.
Edit: think I've found them Diana:

So many to choose from. The moon spaceship I've already mentioned and also up there is chemtrails (which also involves all sorts of sub-theories), plus FEMA camps which is another good one. A more obscure one I encountered was the claim that a huge pharmaceutical tried to release a deadly pathogen into the population so they can sell their drugs and make money. The government was complicit of course. Their plan was foiled when a 3rd party checked the offending samples and stopped them from going any further. The 'proof' behind the claim was that a pharma company did once, apparently by accident, send a pathogen to an agency where it was discovered. When I questioned why the pharma company would wish to send the samples to a 3rd party, when they knew they would check the samples, rather than just releasing it directly into the population I got all sorts of abuse. That's one of the best things about conspiracies and their theorists. Challenge them on their claims and they are likely to go fucking mental. It is most amusing.
