Fred Dibnah has that amazingly distinctive Bolton accent. Love it. It's really unusual to have a town (and especially one so close to other big cities) with its own instantly recognisable accent like that.

I had a gf, whose parents were from Ramsbottom....they had proper old skool accents, but even though Ramsbottom is between Bolton and Accrington, different to both. You could really upset a Ramsbottom man, or woman, by thinkiing they came from Rawtenstall or Bacup. |

Apparently so far this season Swindon loan players have made 76 appearances whereas ours have made only 4.
In addition they have signed a further loanee.
