Not just you, when I was younger we went on holiday to Holland quite a bit and a "warme chocomel met slagroom" always raised a titter or six.

Just bought a player on Xpert11 I had forgotten I made a bid on (not in the Townend League though).

Fred Dibnah's Buildings of Britain on BBC 2. Lovely lazy start to the morning.

Fred Dibnah has that amazingly distinctive Bolton accent.  Love it.  It's really unusual to have a town (and especially one so close to other big cities) with its own instantly recognisable accent like that.

I feel Guy Martin has taken on the mantle of working class obsessive loons on TV from Fred (in a nice way)

Guy Martin is very good. I still have his canal boat series recorded.

I had a gf, whose parents were from Ramsbottom....they had proper old skool accents, but even though Ramsbottom is between Bolton and Accrington, different to both. You could really upset a Ramsbottom man, or woman, by thinkiing they came from Rawtenstall or Bacup.

Went to the York panto yesterday, told the Mrs that I liked the made up placename Wetwang. She looked at me all confused:

Now its even funnier, much to her eye rolling disgust.

Apparently so far this season Swindon loan players have made 76 appearances whereas ours have made only 4.
In addition they have signed a further loanee.
What you would call a settled side!

They're not doing anything wrong
It's their cheating and playacting I take issue with

Why do you lot bother reading it? It must be comparable to watching a special needs kid skateboarding for the first time. Look the other way..
