Jan, it is hardly news that the Exec Board of a financial institution in the Uk would be made-up of London based right wing leaning types, is it?

Having followed the "arguments" a little, it would make me smile if they vote yes, just simply because it does seem it is based on a whole bunch of things they'd like to have rather than any firm commitment to what they will definitely get.  Whether or not we'd pull the pound for example is a mute point, fact is, it wouldn't be down to the Scots.

No it's not much of a shock at all, however, announcing the story as 'Edinburgh based Standard Life' etc, without giving an insight into who actually runs the company is a little out of order. Bunch of tories boys hiding behind the corporate name to blackmail a load of their employees and families into no votes. Classy.

Think the No campaign only have themselves to blame for seeing their lead in the polls shorten and shorten.

(PS that write up of the board wasn't written by me, just read it on another site).

Shit, turns out I was wrong to question the No campaign, the BBC in their ever so balanced reporting on the subject have wheeled out an economical heavy weight to give us all his view.

As the clip doesn't show it, presumably they gave some reason why he was interviewed on the topic? As he's not obviously an expert on Scotland, the independence debate, economics, politics or well, anything much apart from lacquer and layers really.

Norwegian bloke and his band write a song about Leeds United:

I fervently await the Norwegian Reds' release of their debut single "Luc Nijholt"

Some people may not like Jeremy Clarkson, but he equals the same level of vitriol that I have for Piers Morgan.

Enjoyed that, the worst thing about Morgan's sacking is we might get him back full time over here.

He's right, Morgan has the kind of face you just want to continually punch.

I always wondered why he hated Morgan so much. What a vile little turd he (big M, little organ) is.

And long may it continue.

Any opportunity to expose Morgan for the vile fucker that he is should be wholeheartedly embraced.

I don't think we need a Jeremy Clarkson column to know that whatshisface is a card carrying member of 'dick club'.
