I heard from someone that the reason people have to turn their phones off for take off and landing is that they have to be concentrating properly in case something goes wrong.
Can't remember where I heard it, possibly an air stewardess.

Also do you really want to be crammed inside a metal tube for hours on end with no possibility of escape with some twat less than an inch from you gabbing away down his phone the entire flight?
Air travel is weirdly one of the few places now where you can escape technology to some extent.

It was Deloitte that had them higher - Bayern in 3rd and Arsenal in 8th. |
