Scunthorpe United fans have been asked not to dress as squirrels when Alan Knill returns in charge of Torquay on Saturday.

Knill suffered a bizarre accident last year when the manager of Scunthorpe when he collided with a squirrel while out cycling.

Reading "Danny, Champion of the World" to my kids at bedtime   Smiley

Mine are obviously younger than yours, but reading to my two boys every night before bed time is one of the best parts of my life.  The Gruffalo is a current favourite, but Giraffes Can't Dance is doing well too.  The look on their faces, particularly the 3 year old's (the other is only 1, and tends to try to eat the book half way through) is worth the early morning, long commute, and stressful day at work.  Always makes me smile.

Ahem.  Tits.  Football.  Cars.  Tits.  I like farting.  Tits.

A Gruffalo, what's a Gruffalo ??  Grin

If you have boys get the Little Red Train Books by Benedict Blathwayt - they are superb.

Nochee - yes, if I looked like that I'd expect a visit from Operation Yewtree

Danny Champion of the world is the best of Roald Dahl stories, no argument. I have great memories of it as an audio book that I went to sleep by as a kid.

I have vague recollections of James and the giant peach being a good book.

Currently reading The BFG to my two.  It's impossible to read the part of the BFG without giving him a West Country accent.

That just stirred up some fantastic memories of my grandfather (Moonraker through and through) reading it to me and doing the BFG voice. Cheers Ardiles.
