Don't think the comment was any different from some viewpoints that were made on here when McCormick was training with us.
The difference between McCormick and Hughes is quite significant in my eyes.

I don't think he was ever breathalysed was he? Not that it changes what happened.
He wasn't breathalysed because he fled the scene and turned himself in 3 days later. Abhorrent cunt. And yes I suspect most of us have driven while over the limit, but I expect most people wouldn't cause an accident and then leave some poor bloke to die. Most of us have the courage to admit when we are wrong, and at least try to do something about it. Hughes is a callous, horrible coward and cleverly got a much shorter sentence than he deserved. Him and Luke McCormick aren't even playing the same sport let alone in the same league.

But how many in the crowd have killed someone?
Oh and I wasn't singing it either. I know you're just trolling as usual Chang.
No, no I'm not. The quote is what a Swindon fan put on Twitter.

I don't think she does. And I don;t see anything is wrong in what she said, she's bang on the money. Except she may be forgetting that he did a runner.

Ok, I said I wouldn't but, bang on the money? Really? I doubt we have 7300 murderers in the crowd.

Maybe it's a generational thing, and I'm not trying to be some sanctimonious moral tosser (for a change), but I definitely wouldn't drive after drinking. Probably not even one.

No, we don't. I think your twisting things a bit here because I never suggested such a thing. That's just not cricket old bean One reason we did have no, or very few, 'murderers' in the crowd however is not because they are morally superior, but because they got lucky and their driving/speeding antics didn't lead to other people dying. Many of those people singing said chants would themselves have been 'murderers' if it wasn't for nothing else but luck. That seems to be the difference to so many regarding whether a person is good or an evil murderer..... luck (or lack thereof) Now I know that Hughes is seemingly an odious cock. I also know that there is a significant difference between people like him and McCormick, but that doesn't make other people any less hypocritical for singing sings and what not when they themselves have also been just as careless on the road.

I'll put to one side the fact that I think you're massively overestimating he proportion of the population that would drink drive. I think you're missing a much more fundatmental point here. People REALLY hate this man not because he had a road accident in which someone was killed. Not even because he was probably DUI at the time, but because having had the accident and seen that he'd seriously injured someone, he didn't call an ambulance but climbed out of the and fucked off, leaving the bloke to die. I doubt there are many even in a crowd of over 7000 that would do that. It's not luck or circumstance.
