Finally bought a new house.

Congratulations.  It is a stupidly painful (and expensive) process.

You really need to change estate agents. That's not a standard part of the handover process

Going for my first hour-long run in several years this morning.  I'm a bit of a plodder (managing only 10 mins/mile at the moment) but feeling the achievement nevertheless...and some tight calf muscles.

England win, couple of beers and get your leg over and it would be a good day

A workmate of mine makes all of his 50/50 decisions by flipping a coin. He was given a rather nice Scarface coin from Batman as a gift recently, so has taken to using this. Yesterday i saw him flipping the coin so on the spur of the moment I tried to grab the coin mid-air. I succeeded in batting it away, at which point another colleague went fucking ape at me, as the coin was his, a 1889 silver crown. Oops :-D

Don't know which thread this should be in but I've been periodically annoyed/puzzled by a very quiet high pitched whine when sat around my computer. It was clearly electrical and quiet enough to not notice, but once you did, it niggled.

I was annoyed my computer was making any sound for start, and further annoyed I couldn't find out exactly where it came from.

Turns out today was my lucky day and I discovered it was one of those poxy usb plugs and the pitch changes depending on the charge status of the device. Silence. I now have a slight concern about whether or not it's dangerous, because it shouldn't really make any noise I'd have thought.

Well, if it made you smile or feel good, you are in the right thread.

I suspect not.
