Driving home from work when a low flying Army chopper passed right over me. Nearly ended up in a ditch. Despite that, it's still an awesome sight.

Saw one for the first time at Eastbourne air last August, and jesus do I love it. Mesmerising is the word. The speeds they can sit and virtually hang in the air are ridiculous. Superb, and I'm so happy I put my little bit of money into the fund to get it back in the air. |

Apparently 2013 is the last year that the Vulcan will fly. They have run out of serviceable engines. They did have a spare set but one of the current engines was destroyed by a grease monkey leaving a wrench in one of the intakes, so they have had to use the spare engines meaning that there aren't any more!! |
