The new Pope is an Argie, confirming long held suspicions that new Papal appointments now have to come from top footballing nations.  Reports also suggesting that Messi's sublime (sorry, divine) performance last night may have been a factor.

He also looks just like Jim Bowen. Super, Smashing, Great.

I know I have rose tinted specs but I look at that and I do honestly think that it was the best period to have your childhood in. It makes you appreciate the progress of the last 30 odd years.

Ahh, the days of skateboards made of wood with rock hard wheels. The days of the evil knevil stunt bike, and most cul-de-sacs with a quarter pipe up against the wall for BMX stunts (crashes). The days of throwing sticks at horse chestnut trees. Getting the slipper at school if you stepped out of line. Summers where the sun actually shone. Catapults and pea shooters. The good old days.

It looks like it's about to skim the roof of the British Museum.

The test drive vid is fake, Gordon didn't drive the car, its a new car with a V6, not an '09 V8 it supposedly is. FOR SHAME SIR, FOR SHAME!

I'm 89p up after today's Cheltenham bets. Living the dream!
