We bought ours reconditioned so I'm thinking 9 a day is way too much, although my wife drinks a lot of coffee. I have 2 a day, she probably has 4 ish, so 9 can't be right!

Where did you get your reconditioned one mate?
I’ve been after a good bean to cup model for a while. The amount I spend on coffee is ridiculous

It was a reconditioned Delonghi sold via Ebay. We paid £289. This RRP was about £600. Personally I'd 100% recommend Delonghi, we've had 2 which have been perfect. When we left London our previous one was old but still functional. We just decided to give it away and replace. My sister has also had a Delonghi, which has lasted much longer than ours.

Give Ebay a whirl mate.

Ours was also a recon via Delonghi ebay. They come with 1 year warranty but may not include non-essential accessories such as water hardness test strip and (optional) water filter cartridge (not that all models do anyway).

And there is a 20% off voucher until March 3rd I think.

We've has 2 before this way. Both have arrived and you wouldn't tell they weren't new. Maybe we were lucky.

Stock can vary through the day, there was more choice last nigh than yesterday morning - unless I stuffed the search up (Think I hit see sellers other items).

I'm reasonably sure the gubbings inside are very similar in all but the top model, so it comes down to the drinks options and whether you think they are useful. We've just ordered a replacement that can do milky drink from a carafe - no idea if this is going to be an unused gimmick or a great upgrade!

If you've not used on before the volume of coffee can seem somewhat small as its essentially espresso, but can always to up with hot water. At least on the 2 we've had it has been...

I've been ill this week with a dose of man flu, but there is something good about waking up and looking out into the garden which is slowly blooming into colour. Snow drops, daffodils, some purple ones. (maybe crocuses) As I get older it's the small things that you really appreciate.

Getting 3 points yesterday and my lovely wife preparing a cooked breakfast is merely a bonus!

I have to go into London 3 times a week and so I'm up at 5:30 ish. In the summer when the windows are wide open and they start about 4 it's a little irritating, but at the same time uplifting, if that makes any sense at all?

Nature at its best Bob and something we only appreciate as we get older and no doubt better than being stuck on a packed noisy tube three days a week!
