CC company phoned me today. The fraudster managed to get two transactions through before it set off their system. All on Tesco Direct.
I haven't even used the card since December. Anyway, it's now cancelled and assurances given that the balance will be rectified.

On a similar note, a few weeks ago a bloke was going around buying a laptop from all tesco stores. A week later he would return it, but they never reclaimed the points.
Genius idea.

Walking back from work, just saw a bright yellow learner car with an oxford united sticker in the back, and it made me more angry than I htought something like that could. Anyone else seen this monstrosity around town?

Years ago, I lived briefly in Westlea and remember once seeing a bloke there wearing an Oxford shirt. (True story.) But my overwhelming reaction was pity.

I live in Westlea and have never seen an Oxford shirt. Plenty of kids down the park with STFC shirts on, which is pleasing.

Not sure, but if you spend £500 on a laptop that surely must be a lot of points?

2 points per £1 spent, each point is worth 1p. So buying a £500 laptop will equate to £10, not as bad as I thought. Would be funny if they refused him a refund though.

I assume you mean in the UK? For example a barmaid working in Paris, Madrid or Copenhagen for example can surely be excused from not speaking a word of English?

I know what you mean. It can be uber frustrating when someone who is there to provide a service doesn't speak the language.

My local club, Farnborough FC, very possibly being only one league below us next season. Happy as I am for Farnborough, who are the form team in the Conference South having only been promoted last season, this still does 'mildly annoy' me. (They have managed a 1,000+ crowd on two occasions this season.)
