Spring Onions being called Salad Onions in Morrisons.

They looked the same, smelt the same so I assumed they are the same. Which according to google they are - aka bunching onions, green onions, jibbles and scallions. Scallions?? I thought that was a type of boat FFS.

Why so many names for a spring onion. Just call it a spring onion FFS.
