Things that annoy me are centrally coming down to one thing at the moment:- Douglas looking like a championship footballer last year and an under nine's girl this year. He doesn't run around, can't pass a ball and has hardly won a 50-50 all year.

First time I saw him this season I said to my mate "he's either injured or dosnae give a fuck anymore..."

I stand by that comment eight months on.

I think you'll find they can, unless there is something wrong with it.

The point is that it's supposed to be a cliff hanger at the end of a sentence, not mid way through.

Ans Si, what I meant is that if the box is in sealed condition unopened a shop can't refuse a refund. Unless it's a sale item I believe.

Dont worry Sippo,i can see why it may annoy some,it is a bad, lazy habit i got into because my understanding of comma's etc is not that great,i have tried to improve and in fact the internet has really helped my grammar, believe it or not.

No really, they can. It's a common misconception of the consumer that they're entitled to a refund.

Though obvioiusly Tesco has a returns policy. But it would be funny if he returned it outside of the time-limit. Dunno where the story came from because I would assume the points would be deducted once the receipt was logged through the till.

CC company phoned me today. The fraudster managed to get two transactions through before it set off their system. All on Tesco Direct.

I haven't even used the card since December. Anyway, it's now cancelled and assurances given that the balance will be rectified.

I had the same last month, two transactions on Tesco Direct.  My credit card is actually a Tesco's one and they rang me, because it flagged up at their end as possible fraud.

I've had a new card sent and the money was taken out and then credited back on my statement.

Tesco Direct must be losing a bit of money at the moment to fraud, because I know of two other people who've had their cards used fraudulently there as well recently.
