You can't expect the average American to know the origin of their language. Even if the clue is in the name English.

Not that daft for them though, what if they reuse some of the questions in one form or another this year.

I can understand why they don't want to giver out worked solutions, because of what you said above. But they don't even give out the answers on their own. So for all I know, i could be plodding along doing these questions, getting them all wrong but being none the wiser. It's stupid.

Oh I see. I sympathise.

Any lecturers/tutors around that can help out with anything you are struggling with?

I still have the odd nightmare about impending faliure of my Uni exams even though I graduated in '95. Its usually about Maths, but the strange thing is maths played little part in my degree after the first year. Dr FlammableBen, what does it all mean.

Nah. I've tried but they said there's nothing they can do, and I missed their only two hour office period before the exam, which is next wednesday. Which is another thing that pisses me off (just to please Arriba), these lecturers pissing off during exams.

Ha, I get that too, only with me it's usually a Greek Literature paper that I've not done any work for (including reading word one of the set texts) and the exam's in 2-3 days. This despite the fact I dropped Literature half way through the 2nd year. Still wakes me up sweating though.

That's just weird.  I get precisely the same thing.  And I also graduated in 1995.
