New members of parliament wearing Swindon scarves for posed photo opportunities on play off final day - while wearing fucking suits and ties.

Justin Tomlinson = Cunt.

Rod Bluh the council leader does not even like football and has never been to see stfc play but he had to have a picture at wembley and conveniently put it in the paper....arse

When people (and it happens A LOT on Jeremy Kyle) are talking about when someone has been saying something and they prefix with '...and they turned around and said'.

For example 'she turned around and said that Nijholts Nuts is fucking awesome in bed'

If you can imagine this sentence literally for a minute, how many people do you know that go around spinning on a six pence saying stuff? None.

Bit harsh. He's been going to games for years, most as a season ticket holder if I'm not mistaken. And he was in the stands with the rest of us away at Charlton, hardly a bandwagon jumper

Yeah, I seem to remember him being involved for a long time and posting on the Trust forums.

Do the Trust forums still even exist?

So civic leaders should not show support for successful teams/companies/theatre groups from their town unless they've got a direct personal interest? He didn't try and crack on he was a lifelong fan, he just wished the team luck (yes, I'm looking at you here Messrs Blair and Cameron).

Oh, and your point, weak though it was anyway, might have had a tiny bit more to it if you were actually correct - he's been to at least 3 games that I know of.

He was also very helpful to the Trust for many years, especially when we (as a club) were right in the shit and staring down the barrel. As was Anne Snelgrove and Rod Bluh, hence why I'm more than happy to defend all three from ignorant twats who don't know what they're talking about (not you Si, obviously)

It's fair to say Tomlinson has been around a while...he clearly saw how attaching himself to the Trust would raise his profile as a wannabe politician.  Nothing wrong in that, it's the sort of thing  most politicians do.

At least he knows where the CG is, which is probably more that can be said for the no mark whose constituency it's in.

No, but he is also a genuine fan. Attends games (without photo-ops), sings, wears red shirt occasionally, all that kind of thing.

Someone in the spin dept of Tory headquarters should tell him the singing will alienate him form his core vote....you'll tell me he stands up next.
