What exactly are the ‘cockles’ as in the cockles of your heart?

The ventricles.

Cockles might be a group of muscles in your heart that let your brain know that you can get up in the morning. Hence the song ...
Cockles and muscles, alive? Alive - oh!

Had our work night out in Canary Wharf (highly recommend 'Electric Shuffle' for a group outing) which was good, but I haven't bought a pint in London for ages. A pint of generic lager (think it was Heineken) was £7.50. ouch!

I am currently staying in Madrid for a few weeks, walking home last night with my girlfriend a guy was reversing his car into the street parking space in front of mine and smacked my car really fucking hard.

I banged on his window and was like WTF. He got out and was like what? I started to have a go at him and my girlfriend immediately was like leave it, leave it. seriously leave it. He was only a little fella and i was about to hold my ground when he started cursing at me and even my shit spanish picked up his colombian accent. I looked at my girlfriend who at this point had pleading eyes, so I sort of shrugged and we walked off.

She later explained he was a "very well known" Colombian in the area, hence I have spent a night shitting myself and moved the car at 7am this morning.

A 4x4 went into the back of my motorbike in Cambodia and I got off and shouted at the guy, who acted as if I was invisible. The thought then struck me that he was driving a very nice car, so was probably connected to someone who could have me nicked. I got on my motorbike and skulked away. Made me long for home where I could just give him a hiding if it came to it(I wouldn't, I'm a pussycat).

See another ‘accidental ignition’ has destroyed a number of cars at a parking site at Bristol Airport.

Went to one of the big supermarkets in town last night, one that I don't use regularly. They had one till open  Doh I usually use the self scan at my local supermarket but this time opted to use a regular till. Have to say it's not the first time I've been in there and just seen one person on the tills. Won't be hurrying back there.

Reading vs Oxford tonight.... draw ideally, or a Reading win if either team has to take the 3pts.  Head Hurts

We went over the Dartford Crossing in September and I paid the £2.50 fee, but 10 hours late. I assumed there maybe some leeway built into the algorithm but sadly not and our £35 fine arrived on the doorstep this morning.

Clearly whether its 10 minutes or 1 month late it doesn't really matter in their eyes and its totally my fault for forgetting but is there any value in trying to challenge it?
