If you want to try and murder someone with impunity, do it in a car!

A 15 year old girl stabbed to death on the way to school. It's absolutely horrific.

What can we do?

I think they need to be trying teenagers as adults for a start in murder cases.

If it didn't involve The Met, increase the use of stop and search and be more stringent with the punishment for those found in possesion of a blade/ poibnted article. That is the first thing to do enforcement wise.

Away from enforcement, educate the fuck out of the kids. Violence is not the answer to being dissed. Being dissed is not the end of the world. Being respected is not a given. Behave like you are worthy and it will happen. Those in your circle of acquaintences (I won't use the term friends because they are not friends) who encourage you to carry a knife aren't trying to help- they are probably using you.

Firmly in the "don't understand" section but what the hell did the delightful Ms Piper ever see in that bellend of an ex husband of hers.

Hopefully now his GB News gig is over he will disappear into obscurity, wishful thinking i know

Saw that on the BBC site. Looks like someone has marked the tree for felling and spray painted a cut line pre felling. Very odd.

Not in the same league but there’s a developer here who was building some new houses/Bungalows on the old allotments here. Right on the border of the land was an old tree with a preservation order on it.
The developers just turned up one night & cut it down & basically just shrugged their proverbial shoulders and said don’t know why it happened.
They got a small fine & had to plant two new saplings (that probably won’t survive).

Normally there will be a condition that if they don't live for a certain amount of time the developer has to replace them again and again.

On the basis that they also built outside of the boundaries that they were permitted too and the local council basically said, oh well never mind it’s just a little bit of the local park you’ve stolen don’t worry about it, I have little confidence that they will do anything of the sort.

Imagine if I built an extension or outbuilding that exceeded the boundaries of my property, I’m sure they’d say it’s fine 😂
