...Either that or the good people at X, or whatever the fuck numbnuts is calling it this week, realise that their platform thrives on conflict and want you to follow people that drive us fucking mental.
Can you imagine Twatter in the 1940's with the same approach... Hey there @ImARabii656, we think you might be interested in; @TheThirdReich @SSForever @IchLiebeHitler or in the early 1910's... Hello @PankhurstsNo1, these people are trending right now... @DenySuffragist5 @4AngEmmeline @KingsHorseEpsom

I can only assume there's a conscious decision to promote the twat at Twitter as, despite all the people I follow in politics being very much in the other wing of the political spectrum it repeatedly suggests him as someone I might be interested in. Either that or the good people at X, or whatever the fuck numbnuts is calling it this week, realise that their platform thrives on conflict and want you to follow people that drive us fucking mental.
I suspect its the realisation that winding people up means many spend longer on there with associated enhancements in ad revenue. The algorithm seems to have been skewed when nubnuts took over with loads of the right wingers (Fox, Tice, that ginger tory lass, crafty wank etc) popping up all the time but a bit of blocking sorted that and if one sneaks in just scrolling past. In the past it was pissing me off, but after a stern word with myself, I think the key is just to use it for what you want to and avoid the white noise from all sides intended to wind people up, I've got a mate who is fucking obsessed with it meaning that discussions in the pub are often dominated by what someone has said, it seems to get under some people's skin in a bloody unhealthy way. For me it's football news, cycling news (albeit some of them can be a bit loony as well), and a few people who use it for travel blogs. The fact that I'm on there whilst space Karen is spunking his and the Saudi governments money up the wall is just a happy byproduct 😂 On the other hand the popularity of Instagram baffles me, albeit that may be as I came to twitter first.

The problem is that nobody has any credibility any more. Experts and scientists rolled out by governments are reliant on grants from those same governments or corporations - disagree with their narrative and you’re done. There is no truth anywhere. The media outlets - press and TV - are owned by those pushing their own agenda.
It is in this web of deceit that the more loony narratives thrive. Nobody does their own research into anything, they just trot out the bits they’ve read or heard that they happen to agree with and repeat them as an absolute truth

Why is Kansas pronounced with a hard S, but when you put 'Ark' in front of it, it's pronounced as an 'aw'?
Kansas - Hard S Arkansas - pronounced 'saw'

Best not to try to apply logic on pronunciation to a country that can't even say Craig.

It's a really nice lake and I regularly walked it when I lived close by.

Because the second one was French who had most of the South as a colony - don't forget, the USA that declared it's independence wasn't the USA we know today. edit: and Kansas is a newbie, part of the Western move that didn't exist before (which is code for Western culture hadn't yet eradicated those who lived there and hadn't considered the concept of Country or State yet).
