Been involved in one single vehicle one which was entirely down to me as the driver, same way as been done for speeding once, again entirely down to me. I used to drive 35k miles a year, probably more like 4k a year these days (thankfully), I think I am pretty competent but no more or less than that.
My comment not aimed at you but at the type of person you were alluding to.

Assume you mean the rolling news on said tragedy.
Horrible thing to happen, but it feels a bit morbid fascination. Surprised Sky don't have a death clock rolling down.
Not going to end well
It's no so much that, albeit the coverage is just plain odd, especially when you compare it with the limited coverage of the migrant boat going down in the med which killed 100's. Its more to do with the circumstances of the whole thing, the craft seems at best knocked together from bits, has been subject to literally no third party oversight or certification and yet people were prepared to pay £250k each to go down in it.

On the more petty 1st world problems tone of this thread.... our little lass has a rounders tournament at the local comprehensive this afternoon, was supposed to finish at 3.30 for me to go and collect her (fine no problem), they have now decided in their wisdom to bring it forward and it will finish at 3, which coincides with the end of school for the whole school, its going to be sodding chaos, why don't people bloody think.

A fool and his money…. I’m game for a lot of things but, you wouldn’t arch me heading 3000m plus under the Atlantic in a carbon fibre tube bolted together with a socket set. Put me in the same sub as the one Bob Ballard used when discovering Titanic.

Why does the BoE keep increasing interest rates when it’s making no difference to inflation?
Still, more profits for the banks etc.

Trouble is the price hikes have been on all things that are essential, so people won't start capping spending on food and fuel.
