I saw. It’s fucking hilarious. From the accidental Britain First T-shirt, to the hanging of the dolls “like they did in Mississippi”. But no, the dolls aren’t a symbol of racism and the pub owners are not racists. We’re all over-sensitive snowflakes.

Yeah, I remember those. And I never once made any connection between them and skin colour. They were just a kids' toy or a character in a book... or something you collected from jam jars. Oh for the nativity of childhood... what a shame we have to grow up...

I remember in one of the many Clarkson scandals discovering that there was a racist version of eenie meenie miney mo. Quite the surprise in my mid 20s!

Remember my parents tuning in to the Black and White Minstrel Show in the 60s. No racial connotations then either.

I guess that's a good thing really. if you grew up in the 70s and probably early 80s you'd know it! I'm embarrassed by my own relatives resist attitude of a couple of generations ago, some of which got passed down to my own mother. But I do find it interesting. How do you judge different times and attitudes because using today's standards really isn't fair

What an idiot that woman is. Fortunately, I expect she’ll have her license revoked, if not for the dolls but the other crap she’s spouted in the past. Dickhead

Remember watching that as little lad & Alf Garnett. Pleased to say that I managed to survive & become a reasonably well rounded individual & not in the slightest bit traumatised or in need of trigger point warnings regarding written & televised matter.
