Upon being asked if I knew anything about ISO I answered that I got roped into it at my old job. Now I'm trying to get my head around an ISO27001 manual nobody has looked at for nearly 18 months

You poor poor sod

In my old job I had to write the manual for ISO 9001 certification for the data processing department, never ever again! took me several months at about 50% of my work load to finish it.

Good luck with that you will need it.

For two days running I have driven past some road works in the layby on the A417 (just before hitting the roundabout where it goes to single lane).  On both occasions they have had a bloke stood holding a sign to warn people to drive slowly through the road works.  Clearly given this is the second day running, this isn't a 10 minute job, surely to god you'd just stick the sign up rather than pay someone to hold it?Huh?

Possibly people will pay more attention if there's a bloke holding it? Dunno
