There's obviously a massive in joke that I'm missing, but why has everyone, everywhere started saying 'Get in the sea!' recently. It's fucking irritating.
It's a facebook/twitter account which finds really trivial things (usually twattish celebrities/news stories or fashions) that people don't understand or mildly annoy them and then suggests a more appropriate place for them would be the in the sea (specifically the bottom of it) and away from our attention. Hence, "get in the sea". |

I've seen it suggested that it came from Stewart Lee's, "get back in the sea, you finned cunt", which even if it didn't, it's given me an excuse to post it

Can't see why anyone finds it so genius tbh, it's literally just one of about a zillion Twitter accounts where people post other people acting like tossers (like that's hard to find) and adds some swearing.
