A) Running on the wrong side of the road

C) Running on the right side of the road with no fluorescent garments

Assuming you're talking about daylight, if you can't see a pedestrian unless they're wearing fluorescent clothes you should hand in your licence immediately as you clearly shouldn't be driving.

It's a real bind doing 40k a year without seeing fuck all. But then again you see cars a lot sooner now they have side lights on all the time. Who knew, those Swedes were onto something with their Volos 30 years ago.

If you're seriously saying you can't see a pedestrian in time unless they're wearing fluorescent clothing in daylight, either your eyesight's not good enough to be driving or you're going waaayyy too fast. And double that for not being able to see cars without sidelights

Don't be a knob. Of course i can't see anyone when I'm driving and of course i drive to fast. The fact that one woman yesterday was wearing dark gear and blended into the hedge row and I wasn't speeding had noting to do with it. What your intmating is that their safety is the drivers responsibility.

If they're going to go running on the fucking road where ever they are don't you think they should wear hi vis gear? if the answer is yes then i win if it's no then by that yard stick motorway maintenance personnel should wear camoflage gear and cyclists have a no helmet protest in London like the sheiks did in the '70's

Some time ago I ordered a tv bracket to put our tv on the wall. I decided to have a go yesterday. I'm inept at DIY so drilling holes and putting the bracket on the wall took longer than it probably should have taken.

Next part was to put the brackets on the back of the tv, realising that the screws in the bracket box were too small I nipped up to the local DIY shop 3 times to try and get the right size screws.

Finally after some time it dawned on me that the screws I needed were too big to go through the bracket! I did some investigation on the yank amazon site and there was a warning that the bracket wouldn't fit Samsung TVs. So I now have 4 lovely holes in the wall and a bracket I can't use (it was only about £7). Bit pissed off that it didn't have the same warning on the uk amazon site (and I did read the comments and it was never mentioned).

The bracket states it can be used on 99% of tvs which i suspect is a load of bollocks.

Can't you just drill out the holes in the bracket to the right size?

No, I was suggesting drivers have a responsibility to be aware of other road users. As do cyclists, pedestrians, horse riders etc. I didn't (until now) think that was an especially controversial view.

Muslim/paki women's clothing, i was out earlier & there was a woman walking along the path who had the headdress on where you can only see their eyes, but she had an extremely low cut top on with her more than ample breasts just about hanging in her top. I always thought that they had to cover up all flesh. I am not moaning that much as they were a very nice set.

I don't class joggers running around country lanes in dark gear on the wrong side of the road as regular users. They and cyclists should have hi vis gear on as a given standard if they are using a road. In Addition a helmet at least for cyclists. While I'm at it it also surprises me the amount of horse riders without hi vis and or a helmet around the west Swindon, Purton & Cricklade roads.
