On the driving-road issues. I think driving standards by drivers, motorbike riders, cyclists and pedestrians is in rapid decline. As a nation we are become more selfish and it is not nice for those of us who wish to act correctly in life.
I've seen the emergency vehicle chancers myself too numerous times.
I reckon at least half of the drivers on the road do not bother to indicate at all or do it wrong. Basics that are inexcusable.
Cocks on high powered bikes just do as they like driving at crazy speeds then cutting into the safe gap kept from the vehicle in front. Wankers.
The ever growing number of cyclists, No lights, on roads when there are specific paths adjacent to the road for them. wobbling everywhere holding up traffic needlessly. Cunts.
Idiots who just walk out in roads forcing traffic to stop. I had some Asian nut job with his two little scrotes in tow walk out infront of my car on a crossing without waiting for the lights to change forcing me to stop. Fucking twat.

Lycra clad bellends on bikes, wobbling all over roads are far more annoying than joggers. And in more danger too I'd think.
Unfortunately where I live (On the edge of the New Forest) we get an influx of these cunts every fucking weekend when the sun's out. Ignorant pricks who obviously feel that the highway code doesn't apply to Bradley Wiggins wannabees. I'm not impatient, merely pragmatic. If I wanted to, or planned to, go the same speed as a cycle I wouldn't be driving a car. |

Whilst we are on the matter of cars/roads etc. I live on a relatively busy straight road which some motorists seem to use as some sort of drag strip. Generally its bikers who seem to want to tear up the road as fast as possible but over the weekend i noticed drivers in (very nice) cars who seemed to want to do the mile strip up as fast as possible. It only takes a small child (well any child, or adult for that matter, or even a dog I guess) to run out and its disaster.

A few seconds?!! Come down here any weekend (Leave your bike at home) and you'll see longer delays than a few seconds. I'm not talking about a couple of cyclists here, they're all over the place in big groups. And cheers for the apology, my free time is important to me and I'd rather not spend it behind a group of twats who seem oblivious to the people in cars crawling behind them, while they continue to ride 2 or 3 abreast on country lanes. |
