I reckon at least half of the drivers on the road do not bother to indicate at all or do it wrong. Basics that are inexcusable.

Yep. People who indicate an exit early on roundabouts is common as fuck nowadays. Thick cunts.

Sometimes I can understand it because some of the liberties some drivers take with cyclists is fucking appalling. The amount of times I have cyclists coming towards me where the cunt that can't wait behind them squeezes past or even uses my lane forcing me to brake rather than wait is unbelievable.

At the same time though, sometimes I swear those lycra cunts do it to piss people off, I know I do enough to make other drivers angry as fuck for shits and giggles. (In my defence normally cunts behind me who think sticking to a 30 speed limit is utterly pointless.)

I try to ride with courtesy for other road users.

The other night I was out and a car was stuck behind and went to overtake me. I could see the road ahead better than her and saw a car coming which was out of her line I sight. I put my hand out to tell her to stop which she did and then thanked me as she eventually went past.

Riding 3 abreast is unfair and dangerous as it leads to reckless overtaking - there is plenty of road for everyone.

As for Herthab, every other sportive seems to take place in the New Forest so I do have some sympathy

Indicators piss me off, or more precisely the lack of them I see. It's so fucking easy to move your hand the half inch needed to turn them on I don't understand why people are either so fucking lazy or oblivious to other road users they don't use them. Or they move out and then indicate. That's fucking dangerous. Look, indicate, check, move. Simple.

And people who can't use roundabouts properly, not helped by lots of roundbouts seemingly having road markings laid out to be as confusing as possible (the new one at Stonehenge is a prime example).

And people who turn their foglights on and leave them on when it's not foggy.

And people overtaking on hatched markings on the A303.

That's more like it. Fog lights are rarely needed, if only people would realise that. Too many drivers switched them on because some other stupid idiotic moron has switched theirs.

I can confirm that they smell fucking awful. I will not be doing that again.
