Tron opened on 9th July 1982. Other films released that month were -

The secret of NIMH
A midsummer Nights sex comedy
Six Pack
Young Doctors in Love
The World According to Garp
Zapped!
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas
Night Shift
Tex

None of those ring a bell....think I'd have remembered the second one.

Nah, I'm not a film buff.  Which is a distinct weakness when it comes to quizzes, and certainly the more recent it is the less I know.

Maybe it was a film released in June that was still playing?

Grease 2 potentially?

Hmmm  I didn't even know there was a Grease 2, Grease 1 was bad enough.

I'm trying very hard here, not to try and enter the dustbin of my mind and try and recall the film  Smiley

I remember when they were talking about making Glastonbury town centre a wi-fi hotspot. Cue outrage from hippies and the like going 'Oh no, it'll mess with our cosmic energy and redirect it towards Yeovil or something, the leylines will be altered'

That's the same level of bunkum that the health risks sit on.

Oh, and what I actually came on for...

Went to the cinema for the first time in ages last night, Orange Wednesdays etc.

£13 to see a fucking film. I can see bands for less than that. When did it get so ridiculously expensive?!

All the hippies had to do was recommend Rikki the Cunt to do the job and they'd have been fine.

Looks like Preston player/s could be involved after they released a statement stating no players from the club had been charged at the moment.

Hey man, why the negative vibe? Was it you who chopped down the Glastonbury thorn?  I bet you have reservations about Katherine Maltwood's Glastonbury Zodiac.

The St Michael's Ley, which runs from Cornwall through Glastonbury and Avebury is a thing of beauty....I wouldn't be surprised if, it doesn't go through Foxhill and the 2nd hill figure there is in fact an Alfred Watkins dodman  Smiley

The original meaning of ley lines was a historical trackway. None of this new age feng shui mystical energy bunkum. In that respect, leylines are important and beautiful.

Grown men and women on those children's mini scooters. Seem to be more and more of them every week.
