Dorcan way petrol station's pay at the pump use the ghost payment system, so they put a hold on £70 on your card & once you have finished they are supposed to release anything that you don't use but they are slow at taking the release off, i once waited for 2 days for them to release the money.
Cant say have noticed that but will have a look next time, Rarely use Dorcan way as either closed or rammed when I go past  |

Recently had my first experience of the school run dropping my bird's kid off a couple of times in the morning, its fucking carnage. 3 schools on the same estate, parents just park cars anywhere they can at all different angles, blocking people in, etc. Certainly raised my stress levels.
Disclaimer - the 6 year old can't walk the 2 miles on her own.

It's the stupid bitches who park their hugely unnecessary Chelsea Tractors like shit on designated no parking zones, or just in idiotic places that piss me off. Drove past our local school at chucking out time about a month ago only to find an X5 parked in the road, blocking the roadway, instead of on the convenient verge next to it (single lane road past a rural school). When I got out to try and find the stupid bint (I used to work at the school so I know several of the staff) I nearly got run over by another one reversing a fucking Range Rover Vogue who wasn't looking where she was going.
When I was finally pointed to the woman whose car it was blocking the road she wasn't (as might be slightly forgivable) trying to hurry little Timmy to the car, no, she was sat having a fucking coffee and a chat. When I asked her why she didn't park on the verge she said she'd just had the car cleaned and that she didn't want to get it dirty.
I've since heard that parents have now been asked to park away from school and then walk children back to their moron wagons.
Owning a BMW X5 would be an offence in my Britain. Such a stupid, useless, pointless thing.

Conversely it annoys me when people describe constant short passing without going anywhere before losing it as somehow morally superior to hitting the ball longer and losing it.
But I think it's the same argument really. We want attacking football not endless sideways passes or neck ache inducing hoofball

Couldn't you locate somewhere a bit further away but quieter for parking then walk the girl to school then walk back to the motor? Saves on stress, gets the little un into the idea that walking is the reason why we're a biped, and you'd get some exercise yourself. |
