The bouncers in the The Old Bank last night, who were completely unhelpful and unpleasant tossers when my friend fell down the stairs on the way out. Subsequently turns out she's broken a bone in her shoulder.

I saw 'joteddyred' as the last poster and was expecting a rant about this mornings ref While the majority of bouncers are pleasant, you do get some arseholes and it seems the ones you mention fall into that category. No doubt they have to be calm to put up with some of the idiots you get but someone falling over shouldn't be treated the same as a pissed up twat looking for a scrap of which there are plenty in this town and most others. I read about this in the paper recently, brutal.

A hinge broken on a window and now being unable to close it. The bracket is bent, and without full height ladders looks like I will have to call someone out. No-one will come out tonight.

Maybe I'm racist. I can't see that Hodgson has done anything wrong here. Is there anyone out there who thinks he's done something wrong? The world has gone mad.
I agree. It is a joke.

I saw 'joteddyred' as the last poster and was expecting a rant about this mornings ref Today's entertainment was provided by the opposing team's manager who clearly thought he was charge of a Premier League team. Never a dull moment when it comes to Sunday morning kids football

He he. Kids go into winter break for two weeks now Jo so you can relax! OK half term then..
'We" had a good game against Ramsbury today. I think they must put their keeper in compost at night, he was really tall for a 9/10 year old!

The courier van with my new laptop in it is driving in the opposite direction from me, despite being within 5 minutes of my house this morning.
Turn around you fucker!

How can the deliver to the wrong house if they head in exactly the right direction?!

Maybe they left it behind a gate/under a bush/with a neighbour etc.

Nah, I've been in all day. To be fair, the company has been really good about being able to track the parcel/having a one hour window for delivery (which hasn't passed yet). It's just trivial and mildly annoying it was so close but so far...

I take it your delivery is with DPD? That tracking site is farce, according to their site my last parcel was within a 500m vicinity of my house for around 2 hours before the driver turned up.

Yes, yes it is. Here was me thinking it was a decent tracker. Perhaps he was having lunch? DPD give you the name of the driver and everything, it's a bit weird. Delivery hour is upon us so I will be twiddling my thumbs staring out of the window. Come on John, drive a bit quicker...
