If we are moving on to fivelive can I add...
Nicky Campbell - Idiot. Victoria Derbyshire - Sanctimonious idiot Richard Bacon - the real life Alan Partridge
However Peter Allen is the true king of Radio!
And God bless Danny Baker. My boys now look forward to their weekly fix of the Sausage Sandwich Game. Haven't got a clue what it's all about, but they love it all the same.

Do you have a 'posse'. If you do, then go fuck yourself.

What, get a group of 10 people together and try to catch a criminal from a village?

Trying to change $100 notes from the cash machine in a country where most people live on less than a dollar a day. Mildly annoying, and it doesn't really get more trivial than that.

I've thought about changing my username to reflect my location and the colour of my team, as many others do. I'm not sure Khmer Rouge would really be appropriate though. 'Elections' here next month could get interesting.

Siem Reap. A lot of it is commercial as fuck as I'm sure you're aware, but I try and avoid that for the most part, along with the weird dregs of humankind that make up a significant proportion of the expat community.

I haven't made it to Siem Reap, would like to.
I've never thought it as a place for expats. Although thinking about it now I imagine it as a place full of backpackers and expats mulling about the place feeling self-righteous about being spiritual and anti-commercialism and stuff.

Two main types of expats here; the type who are probably running from something somewhere else, and stay because the beer is 50cents a glass and fags are 35cents for 20. To a lesser extent for the girls too, Cambodian girls are generally very reserved although things are changing.
Then you have the ones who think they're saving the World, and they're the only ones clever enough to know the answer. Real obnoxious, odious, self-servicing pricks.
There's plenty who don't fall into either but as a general rule I don't take the risk of trying to find out.
Give us a shout if you ever carry on past Poipet.
