Reminds me of a train journey I had a while back, some guy was playing his music way too loud and you could see that people were pissed off, but nobody said anything. I tapped him on the shoulder and asked him to turn it down, he did. No issues. I don't understand it.

I once had a job for a restaurant writing (made up) reviews for trip advisor.

I've just been reading Trip Advisor reviews on the hotel we have booked for our holiday abroad. Somebody marked it down because :

"we arrrived at the hotel thirsty and were upset that there was no mineral water in the room"

Got to the bar then - its an All-inclusive resort.

The unfortunate thing is that we are a nation of moaners.  People are far more likely to take the time to write a negative review.  The majority of people who have a really good experience wouldn't even consider writing a review about it.
Not sure what possessed me but I have written a couple of reviews on Trip advisor, both positive as I thought they thoroughly deserved it. I also moan there and then if I've got a real beef about something! (but only after the final whistle at football).

Well is brilliant so I felt compelled to sign up to trip advisor and write a decent review.

similar to a review on the hotel we are staying at in koh samui, one of the couples complaind because there are too many steps and hills on to get around the resort, yet if you go to their website, it states very clearly what the terrain is like and to avoid it if you struggle with lots of hills and steps.

Sam's latest tweet -

'Half expecting news this afternoon. Can't be sure whether its going to be good or really bad'

As a glass half empty person, I don't like the really bad vibe!

Adverts that are obviously originally foreign with right crap dubbing.

That Captain Morgan one, for instance.

.  I've eaten in there a few times, as someone who used to be in my team at work also worked there at weekends.  Agree, the food on each occasion was really good.  I will add a review also.

It can only relate to the embargo, but why would he think it could be really bad unless he's already got a whiff of something?  Sad

Sainsburys trying to be 'hip' and 'cool' for Comic Relief by randomly blaring out Harlem Shake for their staff to drop what they're doing and dance to.

Not only was it a shit crackly copy that somebody has blatantly taped off the radio (remember them days?), the played it at the loudest volume their PA system would go to.

Maybe you'd expect this in an establishment like Aldi or Lidl, but I expected better from Sainsburys.
