I know. Still prefer the BDO, mind.  Better atmosphere all round.

Good analogy actually.  Agree the PDC = the Prem in terms of the standard & the money on offer, but just as I'd rather watch my football at the County Ground...I prefer my darts at Frimley Green (the true 'home of darts'.)  Wink

Ally Pally looks like an aircraft hanger.

The atmosphere seems like a retarded football match.

Last night I heard on more than one occasion "STAND UP IF YOU LOVE THE DARTS".

I mean, come on.

It's the equivalent of someone in the townend shouting "STAND UP IF YOU LOVE FOOTBALL!"

My bitchwife passing her bugs on to me. She had a shitty cold, its now mutated into the Plague / Ebola with me. NYE is going to bed at 10 with a lemsip.

Oh dear, but on the bright side, NYE is over rated anyway.  Hope you're better for the football tomorrow though.

I used to enjoy NYE when we all went to the local village pub (often in fancy dress) & got pissed where it was mostly friends, or at least people you knew

I've heard of a firm handshake, but why do some people insist on trying to crush your hand? It's not a bloody strength contest!
