I had Virgin Tivo installed earlier & now the remote has stopped working, i have tried everything the troubleshooting guide tells you. I phone virgin & they tell me that they will have one out to me within a few days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I now have to walk across the room to change channel. Have you put any batteries in? Or, move your sofa to within arms reach of your telly. |

The bloke who installed my virgin has just popped around & swapped the remote around, he said he seen on the list for a few days time & he had a spare one so he brought it around.

50Mph joining a motorway, middle lane hogs and tail-gaters are pretty annoying. But they still don't come close to the utter retards that try to re-join the motorway from the hard shoulder by pointing his/her practically stationary car at the inside lane and indicating.
another driving annoyance - just out of my house there is a turning on to a main road - often pretty busy - that bit's fine, i don't really mind waiting for the traffic but what i do mind is when somebody wants to turn right... the road onto the main road isn't very wide but it is perfectly wide enough for a car to get the fuck over to the right hand side of the lane to allow those of us turning left to pull up along side and get on our way. if somebody turning right decides not to get over and uses the middle of the lane it is impossible to get along side and get on your way. it's just plain ignorant as there could be a massive gap of traffic heading left but they of course have to wait for a gap in both left bound and right bound traffic and you can bet your ass that once they do finally get out you'll have to wait another few minutes to get out yourself! |
