Teaching staff aren't allowed to mark books anymore as it can be deemed offensive.

Is this true?  In that case, what's the point of giving kids homework if nobody's going to be able to mark it?

the boss I know about (the flowers & so were a give away) but the other dude seems to be offering lifts a hell of a lot as she does not have a car (not sure if that is a euphemism ;-)
It was clear he fancies her, we went on group activity and he was getting extremely touchy with her then (& not it was not a gang bang either before anyone asks Cheesy)

Not really, because alot of stuff you can buy in there, you could buy in any sports shop.  Sports Direct is just generally slightly cheaper.  Lonsdale and Slazenger are theire classic cheapy brands though.

My Daughter puts a lot of time and effort into her homework and when I ask her what the teachers thought of it she often says no one has looked at it. She will obviously benifit from doing the homework but it grates me when the teachers who set the work don't check it.

Ooops forget to say that they can't mark in red pen anymore.

Funnily enough my it was my sons (primary) school parent evening last night. Looked through some of his work before and the were sort of pink straight lines on some bits of his maths. The Mrs (a teacher) explained these were "think marks", i.e. the answer was wrong and required more thought. At least that's what the Mrs said - no idea if this is a scool specific term..

It is exactly this namby pamby kind of "softening" of education that pisses me off. If its wrong just put a cross next to it. It makes chuff all difference if its a cross or a "think mark". Its the same thing, and kids are so thick they don't know this.

FFS. Teachers have no choice, its those pen pushers down at city hall that are responsible.

Its not a new thing though

Crazy! Surely one of the major factors of life is telling kids right from wrong? Not right and not quite right! A lot of kids these days have major attitude, maybe due to the fact that discipline doesn't seem to exist these days?
