I sold an extractor fan via ebay and posted it via parcel 2 go a few weeks ago.  I checked the tracking and saw it had been delivered, but last week the buyer contacted me to say he hadn't received the item. I contacted Parcel 2 Go, who have contacted the courier.  This morning I received an e-mail stating that my enquiry is now closed as the courier has confirmed the parcel has been delivered.

My only option now is to open a claim, but typically I can't find the receipt for the parcel being collected.  I think I binned it when I saw on the tracking it had been delivered.  Without this they won't look into my claim (even though the courier nd tracking says it's been delivered).

The buyer has all positive feedback, so there's no reason to think he's lying, but fundamentally if I refund him, I'm totally out of pocket.  Anyone had something similar or can suggest what I should do?  He paid via paypal.  Can he reclaim back through Ebay?  I've just had a look for a phone number to contact somebody at Ebay, but can't find one.

I took a day off of summarising PDC and player interviews in the match day thread to celebrate my son's b'day and no one filled in for me!

Jobsworthy unhelpful stewards.

I took my youngest son of 5 to his first game today.  I wasn't sure if he'd sit through the whole game anyway and when it started thundering and lightening I knew there was no hope, as he's frightened of both, so I arranged for my mum to pick him up at half time.   I went downstairs in the Arkells and explained I needed to walk my son outside to be told if I left the stand I couldn't come back in.  After arguing the toss for several minutes and being repeatedly told 'It's the club rules', I was directed back upstairs to the supervisor.  A fat dwarf type woman with facial hair who also blindly quoted me the club fucking rules and basically told me either my son walked to County Road on his own or I missed the second half.

Luckily a more helpful steward who came over when he could see me becoming increasingly irate walked us both out at the Town End and told the bloke on the gate to let me back in.

What an absolute joke of a situation and I'm still annoyed now.  I've got a season ticket ffs, so why the hell should I effectively have to beg to leave for 2 minutes to take my son out?

Rules rules are rules! Most stewards are too stupid to be able to adapt them to any special circumstances. Glad you eventually found one with a iota of common sense.

She's come into work a few times, I didn't know she was in charge if so I'd have offered her some free bath bombs in return for tickets...

Another jobsworth who won't let the kids play football on the dance floor with a rolled up sock anymore for health and safety reasons.  It wasn't a problem for the last 4 years or so, so why is it now.  Jumped up with their own feeling of power and self importance.

Totally inconsistent because my mate realised that he had left his mobile on the front seat of the car today so a Steward, not sure if it was a supervisor let him out and back in again 10mins later. Can't see how it is such a problem when at Some other grounds they let you go out at half time for a smoke.

Earlier on this year I was playing with my flatmate for my work in a summer bank league tournament (he was a ringer). Today he is playing against Rangers for Berwick live on ESPN. Going to be odd seeing him playing on telly if he gets a game!!
