Spotted cow is ok and when its quiet is pretty darn good at what it does-cheap food and lots of it. Thought the harvester would better it though. Was just the same as the spotted cow on a busy day really with many chavs and the portions were smaller than the spotted cow but no better quality of food

HATE the Spotted Cow. Pikey families go and sit out the back whilst their kids run amok inside.
Bit like Toby Carvery then. Full of cunts.

Shamefully, i used to fill my pockets with bread rolls in Harvester The Harvester up near Blunsdon is dreadful, the Drove Road one is a little better. The Spotted Cow does decent portions being a hungry horse but the Bouncy castle out the back is a magnet for child abandoning parents

I love Toby Cavery food, but like you say the place is full of tossers. So we don't go there anymore. Lovely roasts though.

I like the Woodlands Edge Hungry Horse, mainly because they have sport on in there that you can watch when you eat.
I like Harvester too, quite like the salad bar (takes the piss out of Pizza Huts woeful attempt). I can see why you may be disappointed with a main though.
Love Toby Carvery, never had a problem with the people that eat there other than it tends to get rammed if you don't get there early.
And I'd rather eat in any one of them than go back to the Weighbridge Brewhouse again.

Last couple of times we went there, we happened to be going for a roast the same time as a bunch of travellers. The atmosphere wasn't what it should have been, and the oh so predictable 'hey Mister my child just found this piece of glass in their food' comment just topped it off. Put us off to be honest.

My mate tried that new two for one in Winchelstowe the other day & said that it is nice, i think it is called the Brayberry or something like that, also the two for one pub in Shrivenham does lovely food.

Looks like I fall into the snob group then, as I'd have zero chance of persuading my Mrs to come out for a meal at the CGH.
