Going to a Harvester pub-resturant for the first time this evening and it not being as good as i expected. Not shite but nothing special at all. Heaving with people so they are standing right next to you trying to eat whilst waiting for seats,smallish portions of food, and fat kids hogging the pasta at the salad bar

I agree with Dave, never been to be fair, but I imagine it's similar to the Spotted Cow.
I go to the Spotted Cow for something to eat maybe once a year, but always regret it afterwards.

Harvester fine, for what it is. The salad bit pisses me off as I hate to see people pile shed loads of food on their plate/bowl just to get a bit of value for money. However as most of the menu is chicken, you know you're not gonna be blown away by the food. Desserts are good though. And best of all the price is reasonable.
For a decent meal though I'd go elsewhere.
