And when were they in their prime?  With the exception of Elton, probably, more than 40 years ago.  And I hear they are wheeling Paul McCartney out for the Olympic opening ceremony as well.  Given how strong our music industry is, I think it's a real shame that organisers consider these acts to be more 'A List' than the more contemporary bands/acts.  Far too 'safe'.

I thought the point was to reflect music from each of the decades of the Queen's reign, which would limit the choices a bit for the early years, but they were hardly going to put a punk band on were they ?

I've not seen the family of foxes near me out and about for some time and always keep an eye out for them when i pass near their den.
Passed by and saw one of the cubs dead yesterday and no sign of injury to it. Still not seen any of the others and to be honest it's bugging me.
I know they are wild but i see them all the time when out in my car and with my dog. I really hope some cunt aint poisoned them. They looked healthy with no signs of mange or malnutrition
