The fact that some people think it's wrong for the Government to cap benefits at £26,000.  I'm sick of hearing about how larger families might suffer.  If people can't afford to support their children themselves, don't have more - simple!

Me and the missus were just thinking last night how easily we could exist on £26k a year - we get by on less right now! We live in a decent rented house in Old Town, get a holiday every year, and don't really go without too much - i don't understand any opposition.

It's an area thing I suppose, 26k for a couple in London would be a lot trickier, and if they have kids then that's a further drain. All very well and good saying that you shouldn't have children you can't afford but if you have a job when they're born, you can't exactly guarantee you won't lose it for the next 18 years can you?

And that's the type I was meaning.  Those that have never worked and just produce more kids to get more money.  I appreciate some people's circumstances do change and they lose their job through no fault of heir own.  Saying that when my husband was laid off a few years ago, he couldn't even claim jobseekers allowance, because he'd been self employed and payed a different kind of stamp.  We struggled for 9 months on my then part-time wage.

Don't you worry, I know all about diversity.

My mum is North Wiltshire through and through while my dads family are a mix of West and North Wiltshire.

It caused quite a stir back then Smiley
