Leefer, did you hear the chap on five live/radio 2 today? There was a barny between a woman and a haulier. When warned about not going on essential trips on the roads, she was complaining about lorries jackknifing. Apparently her trip to see Granny was more important than lorries delivering essentials to supermarkets!!

I've been playing fm08 for the last 3 hours, gone from about november to end of feb. Have lost every away game played, despite having more possesion and attempts on goal everytime. Have also just played the JPT area final. 3-0 at half time in the second leg, at home, 4-1 up on agg. Of course, brighton pull it back to 3-3 by full time, courtesy of three attempts on target and a penalty. It's things like this that make me wonder why I bother, when it so clearly appears to have been pre-determined beforehand.

Fact is all todays problems on that hill could have been sorted with a plough being in attendance abit more than the norm.

Just mentioned on the radio that from Weds anyone caught with snow on their roofs will get a £60 fine.....need to make up a few quid for the crimbo party I expect, they have not bothered before - and what about these that only clear a patch on their windscreen do they ever get caught ?

Listen you bastards I worked from the 7th to the 29th of november for that in pretty shitty circumstances, if its not going to be paid just tell me and then I can go and tell the tax department that I cant pay them by the 22nd as promised and the mortgage company that I probably will be able to just about pay the mortgage at the end of the month but maybe Ill run a bit short.

That's been happening for a few weeks, dunno about in Swindon. 3 points too. It takes a few moments to clear snow off your roof.

The fact that after even the most trivial amount of snow, all basic COMMON SENSE, goes to shit.

(and this is equally applicable to people who drive too quick, see above, as well as poeple who drive too slow)

Given the hysterical reporting of this 'winter' weather, you get the impression some people seem to think that they will spontaneously combust and die, the moment they set foot outside the door if there is any snow on the ground.

Also, if 'freezing Britain' is still the main headline on the news come February, I am going to throttle someone.
