Pop round the corner to Morrisons... far better produce and literally empty checkouts to use.

I do my weekly shop in Morrisons because I can't abide Asda.  Unfortunately the shelves were so empty, I was forced to go on to Asda to get everything I'd not been able to get in Morrisons.

Ok, probably not trivial or mildly but not knowing whether I am going to be able to get home today for Xmas. Fingers crossed my flight at 10.35 to Gatwick isn't cancelled! Could be a pub lunch in Luxembourg with the other stranded Ex-Pats otherwise!

1. My Mrs insisting I eat 1 sprout at Christmas, even though I don't like them.

2. My Mrs giving me a bag of presents consisting of Boxer shorts, socks, dime bars and nuts. This lead to me struggling not to be ungrateful and a bit grumpy not that the presents were cheap, but that all my Christmas presents had come from Asda's weekly shop. All the way until 4pm when my mum arrived and they gave me a joint present of a Kindle and  a bigtrack Smiley

Sorry Bigtrak, its a retro toy from the 80's that I loved as a kid. They 'relaunched' it:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zeon-Limited-bigtrak-1-Bigtrak/dp/B0035IZ85G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1293361381&sr=8-1

Expensive stocking filler, but can be got for half the Amazon price.
