The amount of people shopping in Asda this evening with the whole family in tow (in some cases this was around 8 people!).  It's a bloody supermarket not a family attraction and the amount of large family groups hovering about in there just added to the stress and busyness.

All people in shops add to the stress as far as I'm concerned. That's why 24 hour supermarkets cut down the stress to a manageable level.

You shop in Asda and you kind of have to accept the chav level of the clientele I'm afraid

If they sell time machines, that helps a lot.  Wink

Pop round the corner to Morrisons... far better produce and literally empty checkouts to use.

I was in sainsbury's this morning at half 8 and it was rammed. The worst thing is that I only had a basket.

Oh and they never activated a gift card so means I have to go back! Grrr.

I sent the wife last night, first useful thing she has done all year. I on the other hand was sat in the warm on Gran Turismo 5.

Yep. I've got some shopping left to do, but can't face the supermarkets this time of year, so will hopefully go before bed. I'm convinced my idea will be genius. I went to Sainsbury's late a few nights ago and the shop was wonderfully empty, but so were the fucking shelves.

Yeah there is that. Usually it's ok but at Christmas I can't imagine there'd be much left.

I'm thinking of going early morning (like 5 or 6am), shelves should hopefully be a bit more full by then, get home and have a nap and then on to some afternoon drinking.
