I've unfollowed. figured the jurnos report within minutes of the official site anyway. clicking away from twitter is annoying but understandable, clicking to get the link to click is just annoying.

The only reason I can think of that they're using the 'Fanziapp' is that they're using it to post to fb and twitter simultaneously, there doesn't appear to be any other benefits to using this new unknown app. It's incredibly naive if this is the case as it's junk, redirecting to a different site just to give a link to the official site? That's just going to piss everyone off (As it has.) additionally the Facebook posts will not be shown to anyone as Facebook actively shows posts containing just links to less people than regular text or photo posts.

It seems very odd that they're pushing this unknown app on us.

There must be some tie. The home page of the site uses pictures of our squad and Chelsea.

Don't want to be "that guy" but I do notice that one of the big "launch" footballers of the app was er... Gareth Barry.

Anyone want to speculate from that the involvement of Mr Standing?

Googling the developer name (White Room 12 Ltd) suggests it's based in Brighton and run by a chap called John Price.

Ooh I love a bit of wild speculation.

White Room 12 Ltd also share the same registered address (accountant) as Lindene GB Promotions, a company owned by a certain Gareth Barry.

I don't care if the links are tenuous, I'm making this a rumour.

Good find.

So, to summarise, STFC are in fact having to sell players to cover the debts incurred marketing the Fanzai app? Get it on Football Rumours.com - it's a dead cert.

I always wondered what that stuff meant, so I put it through google translate. It struggled a bit a first, but came up with this:

Lorem Ipsum is jibberish. It's just placeholder text so you can see what the page will look like when the real text is added.

A Lorem ipsum generator is generally used to create it: http://www.lipsum.com/

I know. But it's obviously based on some sort of Latin, and I finally got around to decrypting some of it.

If this is what the club's app is telling fans, no wonder they're complaining.

Tyrone Mings going for £8m just a few years after leaving Chippenham for £10k. I know we have been stung before but how is not compulsory that there is a sell on clause when a young player leaves to a higher league club. This could have set Chippenham up for years. baffling and wrong in my eyes. If it was compulsory it would only ever benefit the lower league club, if the player turns out shit nothing lost on them
