I wouldn't call it bandwagon-jumping... showing support for a social group that have had a pretty shit time of things, and given yesterday's supreme court ruling in the US that, although it doesn't affect us directly, is still worth celebrating. I don't give two shits who anyone choses to love, but being denied the basic human right of marrying said person is criminal.
(I haven't rainbowed my profile, I never bloody change it, it's still the knitted Michael Gove pin cushion from a year ago)

I use Hammersnipe to automatically put a bid in at the last. that way I don't get into a bidding war, maximising the chance of getting it cheaper. just because you lost out by 50p doesn't mean that was their biggest bid mind, it'll just put up their bid to the minimum needed to beat the next highest. i feel your pain though, i missed out on a mountain bike I really wanted today  |

Just got my car back after being repaired after hitting badger on way back from sheff utd. In traffic jams on whitworth road and got hit up the rear so back to the garage. At least the person who hit me was a decent lad.
Whilst parked up had someone scrape down the side of my car. No details left. Cunt. |

It always seems to happen like this. About 9 years ago I reversed off my mum and dad's drive into a neighbour's car. I damaged their car, but not my own. Paid for it to be fixed, then somebody went into the back of me a couple of weeks later. Whilst the car was in the garage being fixed, I had a courtesy car. Parked in Asda car park, came back and found a trolley had blown into it and scraped/dented one side. |
