What about Sheff Weds at home in the same week?
It was so hot that day that Swindon actually looked different! I remmember not being able to look down Manny road because the light was just so bright (or maybe I had a hangover?).
I had a 15 hour round trip from Surrey for that game. Melted rails, broken down trains etc, absolute mare.

It was ridiculously hot that day. I remember the car thermometer reading 38 degrees when we arrived in Swindon and I thought it must be broken. I then got out of the air conditioned car and it was like the Saudi desert.

Good signing imo. Not a replacement for Coxy, but Paynter can't carry the load all on his own.

Good signing, gives us another option upfront plus if he's decent, we have the option to take him on full time.

I'm liking what I've read on the Southend forum. They say that while he won't score 20 goals a season he makes up for it by creating chances for the other front man. Always gives 120% and runs and runs the whole match.

I'd be a little bit worried if I was a Southend Fan.

Gosh, he sounds utterly vile. At least Bob Holt was slightly amusing in his refusal to admit the obvious.
I wonder if letting a player go out on loan is like renting a house?
